Getting Here

Do you have on-site parking?

Yes. Parking for one car is included in your resort fee. Parking for oversized vehicles, including trailers with jet skis and boats, is available.

Reservations

What time is check-in and checkout?

Check-in is at 3 PM. If you are unable to check in to your reservation before 11:59 PM on the day of arrival, please contact the hotel to avoid your room being released. Checkout is at 11 AM.

Is early check-in available?

Yes, based upon availability. When booking your reservation directly through the hotel website, select an early check-in at 1 PM for $35 per stay. For an earlier check-in, email us at frontdesk@godfreyhoteltampa.com or visit the front desk.

Is late checkout available?

Yes, based upon availability. Late checkouts can be accommodated for a small fee per stay when booking your reservation directly through the hotel website.

  • Checkouts until 1 PM: $25
  • Checkouts until 2 PM: $35
  • Checkouts until 3 PM: $55

Do you require a credit card to guarantee my reservation?

Yes. Your reservation must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or debit card at the time of booking.

What payment types are accepted?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover & Diner's Club.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations may be cancelled until 24 hours prior to the day of your arrival by 3 PM Eastern to avoid a cancellation penalty of one night’s room rate and tax. If you depart the hotel earlier than your reserved departure date, an early departure fee of one night’s room rate and tax apply. If changes are made to your reservation after booking, rates are subject to change and are based upon availability.

What is included in the resort fee?

A daily resort fee of $25.11 plus tax applies to all room reservations. The resort fee includes:

  • Self-parking (one space per reservation)
  • Two bottles of water per night
  • Fast Wi-Fi access on multiple devices
  • Access to the fitness center
  • In-room coffee
  • A one-hour bicycle rental

Do you have connecting rooms?

How can I book 10 or more rooms?

We consider 10 or more rooms a group room block. To book, contact sales@godfreyhoteltampa.com.

Will my credit card be authorized prior to my check-in?

Yes. Your credit card or debit card will be authorized within 72 hours prior to your arrival for one night of the room rate and tax. If the authorization is successful, your room will be available until 11:59 PM on the day of arrival. If the authorization is unsuccessful, your reservation is no longer guaranteed and is subject to cancellation.

Will my credit card or debit card be authorized upon check-in?

Yes. Upon check-in, your credit card or debit card will be authorized for the full anticipated amount of your stay, including a $100 fee for incidentals per reservation.

What happens if I do not show up for my reservation?

If you fail to arrive, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

How do I check the status of my travel agent commission?

The Godfrey Hotel &Cabanas Tampa processes all travel agent commissions through Onyx CenterSource.

To check the status of a commission, log in to the OnyxPortal. To request a missing travel agent commission, please submit a dispute via the portal. All other inquiries should also be made via the portal.

Please note processing and payment of a commission usually takes 30 business days.

Your Stay

Are there fees to visit WTR Pool & Cabanas?

WTR Pool & Cabanas is a 21 year old and above venue. On Saturdays and Sundays, cover charges and cabana rental fees may apply. To learn more, visit wtrpool.com.

Is smoking allowed?

No. We are a smoke-free property.

Do you have a fitness center?

Yes. Our fitness center offers strength training equipment, a stair-stepper, a stationary bike, a treadmill and more.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. We welcome your furry family members! Fees start at $50 per night and vary depending on the size of your dog. At check-in, you will be required to sign a dog form. All dogs not accounted for at the time of check-in are subject to a non-refundable cleaning fee of $150.

Does the hotel have rollaway beds?

No. We do not offer rollaway beds.

Do you have cribs?

Yes. We have a limited number of Pack ‘N Plays. To request one, email frontdesk@godfreyhoteltampa.com.

Can I leave my luggage at the hotel before check-in?

Yes. We are happy to store your luggage for a few hours prior to check-in.

Can I have packages delivered to your hotel?

Yes. We accept packages at the front desk with a handling fee of $5 per package.

How do I report a missing item?

To report a missing item, email frontdesk@godfreyhoteltampa.com.

Can I get food delivered to the hotel?

Yes. We’re happy to provide a list of nearby delivery options at check-in.

Does the hotel accept cash?

No. As a cashless property, we do not accept cash at any of our outlets, including WTR Pool & Grill.

Does the hotel have breakfast offerings?

Yes. We offer breakfast options at Bistro on the Bay, located in the hotel lobby.

Is there a minimum check-in age?

Yes, guests must be 21 years or older to check-in, because of our on-site 21-and-over day club, WTR.

Health

Is contactless check-in and checkout available?

No. We do not offer contactless check-in. However, when you are ready to check out, you may drop off your key without contact.

Do you provide masks to guests?

No.
